Welcome to St Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School

Our school opened over 100 years ago serving the parish of St. Cuthbert & St. Joseph, and the community of North Shields.

We are part of along with 38 fellow Catholic Schools from Northumberland, Newcastle upon Tyne and North Tyneside.

We are a welcoming, friendly school providing a modern and exciting curriculum for all our children from Nursery, (there are no additional charges to our nursery), to Year 6 alongside a wealth of arts and sporting opportunities, celebrations and community events. The links we have built with our parish, community and families are a real strength of St. Cuthbert's and we are proud of the charitable work our families and children do.

If you are interested in finding out more about St. Cuthbert's please contact us to arrange a visit to school, applications for places are welcome for everyone regardless of faith and we accept children into our Nursery in the first school term after their third birthday.

Information on how to apply for a place at St. Cuthbert's can be found on the North Tyneside Council website and on the admissions page in the information section of our website.
